Imagine there’s a bee collecting pollen from a flower. And like most bees, that bee is collecting that pollen to take back to the hive to create honey. If you look at a bee hive, the bees in the hive generally look the same. But they all have different jobs. Worker bees collect pollen and nectar, drones aid in reproduction, and the queen lays the eggs. Though they look very similar, they have distinctly different jobs. Which makes them unique.

Take yourself for example. Just because we all have similarities in the kingdom of God, doesn’t mean we aren’t all unique in our own way. In Jeremiah 1:5 God says that, “Before you were formed in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I sanctified you. I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

This means that when God formed you, He knew you. Which means that He knows why He created you, and for what purpose you are to fulfill. I say that to say that only you can be you. Don’t compare yourself to the likeness of someone else. Be who you were called to be and know who you are.

It’s so dope to know that God knew you before you were even born, which means that age values you more than you could ever imagine. Because His intentions for you are good, and He is intentional knowing you individually.

So be you. Because only you can be the you that God for knew.
